The privacy and security of personal information is very important to WaitWell Inc. (“WaitWell”, “we” or “our”). It is WaitWell’s policy to protect and respect the privacy of personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws. This Privacy Policy (this “Policy”), as amended from time to time, explains WaitWell’s privacy and security practices with respect to all personal information in the possession and control of WaitWell, and may be supplemented by specific policies, procedures, and practices. Please read this Policy carefully to understand our policies and practices for collecting, using and disclosing your personal information.
GENERAL INFORMATION & APPLICATION
WaitWell provides queue management software that enables companies, businesses, and organizations (each a “WaitWell Customer”) to manage and optimize their customer flow, appointments, and service delivery across one or more locations or service channels (the “WaitWell Platform”). WaitWell’s relationship with each WaitWell Customer is governed by a customer agreement (“Customer Agreement”).
If a company or organization you interact with is a WaitWell Customer that uses the WaitWell Platform, WaitWell may collect and process personal information about you from and on behalf of that WaitWell Customer, in accordance with their instructions and the terms of the applicable Customer Agreement. This includes situations where you check in, join a queue, book an appointment, or are otherwise managed by the WaitWell Customer through the WaitWell Platform. To understand how your personal information is being collected, used, and shared, please review the privacy notice of the WaitWell Customer you interact with, or contact them directly for more information on their privacy practices, including for access to information or personal information deletion requests. That WaitWell Customer is responsible for responding to requests to access or delete your personal information.
We have developed this Policy to describe:
This Policy applies to:
WHY DOES WAITWELL COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION?
WaitWell may collect personal information from individuals for the following purposes:
(collectively, the “Authorized Purposes”).
The type of personal information that WaitWell may collect from individuals includes, for example, first and last names, email address, phone number, and other information that individuals choose to provide. WaitWell does not collect any financial information. All payment processing is handled by Stripe. Please see Stripe’s privacy policy for more information regarding the collection and use of financial information: https://stripe.com/en-ca/privacy.
WaitWell may collect personal information for other purposes where it has a legal duty or right to do so or where WaitWell has a good faith belief that it is necessary to protect the property or rights of WaitWell. WaitWell does not collect personal information for any other purposes, unless it or the WaitWell Customer has the consent of the individual to whom it relates.
HOW DOES WAITWELL COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION?
WaitWell only collects personal information about an individual with the individual’s knowledge and consent. Generally, this means that WaitWell collects personal information directly from the individual to whom it relates or from a WaitWell Customer who has confirmed that it has obtained informed consent to share such personal information with WaitWell. Personal information may be collected through the Services. Occasionally, WaitWell may collect personal information from third party sources, but only with the knowledge and consent of the individual or where otherwise authorized by law.

WaitWell uses this anonymous technical information for purposes such as diagnosing problems with WaitWell’s servers, improving the operation and content of WaitWell’s Sites and compiling aggregate and statistical information. WaitWell will not attempt to link or match such anonymous technical information with any personally identifiable information unless WaitWell has an individual’s consent, WaitWell (or its service providers) have detected or reasonably suspect any unlawful use of the Services or a security breach, or WaitWell has a legal duty or right to do so.
WaitWell may use “cookies” on its Sites. “Cookies” are small text files placed on computers that can collect and store a variety of information. Individuals can deny or withdraw their consent to WaitWell’s collection, use and disclosure of their personal information at any time upon reasonable notice, subject to any legal or contractual requirements. However, if consent is denied or withdrawn, WaitWell may not be able to provide, or continue providing, part or all of the applicable Services to you or the WaitWell Customer you interact with.
If you are a WaitWell Customer, you acknowledge that you have obtained appropriate consents from each individual whose personal information you have collected through the Services or otherwise shared with or made available to WaitWell. WaitWell Customers are responsible for compliance with applicable privacy laws governing the obtaining of consent and the collection, storage, use and transfer of personal information, including for responding to access to information or personal information deletion requests.
WaitWell may use personal information to inform WaitWell Customers of current and/or new products, services or other developments that WaitWell believes will be of interest to WaitWell Customers in accordance with applicable laws including Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation. WaitWell retains personal information only as long as is reasonable to fulfill the purposes for which the information was collected, in accordance with its contractual commitments to WaitWell Customers, or for legal or business purposes.
DOES WAITWELL PROVIDE ACCESS TO PERSONAL INFORMATION?
