👋 Hi WaitWell Community,

When the tools just work, your team gets to do what they came to do: take great care of the people in front of them. Every update here gives your team back time to spend where it counts, with customers.

We’ve made it quicker to reschedule and book, opened up deeper answers in Waillo Insights so you can spot wins and act fast, and added smart touches like buffer time that keep your day flowing smoothly all on their own. Plus, we’ve got some great news to celebrate: fresh awards, conferences we loved, and new reads from the blog.

Here’s what’s new.

Product updates

We’ve been busy building tools that make your day run smoother. This round of updates is all about saving your staff time, giving you more control, and helping your clients get better service. Here’s what’s new.

Get deeper answers from Waillo Insights

Your data already holds the story of your busiest hours and your longest waits, and now Waillo Insights can tell more of it. Ask about additional service types (“Show me a summary of additional service types for last week”) and get a clear breakdown in seconds. Compare estimated versus actual wait times to see exactly where your day runs long. Or pull a tag summary across every location (“Show a summary of tags used across all locations for last week”) to spot patterns you’d otherwise miss. Less time digging through reports, more time acting on what matters most.Waillo insights tags question

Build in breathing room with buffer time

Back-to-back appointments leave no room to reset. Now you can set a buffer time, in minutes, for each service type. Booking 15-minute appointments but need 5 minutes to prep for the next one? Set it once and WaitWell protects that gap automatically. Smoother days for your staff, better service for your clients.

Show your hours, right where customers look

Customers shouldn’t have to guess when you’re open. Now you can display your business hours directly on your Customer Site, so they know exactly when to visit or book. Just turn it on in the Customer Site General settings page and your hours appear automatically. Fewer “Are you open?” calls, and customers who arrive at the right time, ready for service.

Reschedule appointments in one click

Plans change. Now your staff can roll with them. A new Reschedule button opens the calendar instantly and shows every available time, so staff can move a client’s appointment on the spot. No cancel-and-rebook. No back-and-forth. Just a quick, confident save that keeps clients happy and your schedule full.

Print appointments at the kiosk

Some clients want something in hand. A new Kiosk print template lets you print appointment details straight to a receipt printer. Clients get a clear slip showing where to go and what they’re there for, so they’re not left guessing after checking in. You’ll find it under Kiosk settings in the staff ap

Edit service types in bulk

Updating services one by one wastes time. Now you can change a setting across many service types at once. Just select the items, hit Edit, and apply your change in the bulk editor. What used to take many clicks now takes a few.

Awards

Steven Vander Meulen named an EY Entrepreneur Of The Year finalist

Steve EY entrepreneur of the year finalist

Earlier this month, our CEO and Co-Founder Steven Vander Meulen was named a 2026 EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® finalist. We couldn’t be prouder.

The recognition celebrates Steve’s leadership and his commitment to building solutions that put customers at the center of every decision. That same drive to improve service experiences shapes everything we do at WaitWell.

WaitWell takes home 19+ badges in the G2 Summer ReportG2 website badges summer 2025

WaitWell earned more than 19 badges in the latest G2 Summer Report, with recognition across patient engagement, scheduling, enterprise, queue management, and more.

Here’s what makes that mean something: G2 badges come from real customer reviews, not analysts or ad budgets. So this one’s on you. Every review helps another organization find a better way to run their service operations, and we don’t take that for granted.

To everyone who left a review, thank you.

Did you know that WaitWell hosts webinars?

Every week, we host live webinars to help you get more out of WaitWell. Some sessions walk you through product features and how to use them, step by step. Others dig into bigger topics, like cutting wait times, reducing no-shows, and running a smoother service operation.

They’re free, they’re practical, and they’re a great way to pick up tips you can use right away. Bring your questions. Our team is there live to answer them.

On the road

Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (May 28-30)

We met medical radiation technologists and therapists from across the country at their annual conference. The connections we made were fantastic, and the conversations were even better. They told us how to help, and that shaped tools that streamline the waiting room, deliver clearer insights, and keep operations running smoothly.

Texas Association of Counties (June 7 – 11)

We met with counties from across Texas to learn how they run their offices and where we can help. We already work with several Texas counties, and these conversations showed us how to do more, from eliminating lineups to improving staffing and cutting down on no-shows.

The Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine Techexpo (June 9-12)

We showed our software to the leading innovators in medical imaging informatics. We learned where the field is headed, swapped ideas on new technology, and showed leaders how WaitWell fits in: shorter waits for patients, smoother scheduling for staff, and clearer data to guide decisions.
