Big updates this month! We’ve made scheduling smarter, reporting deeper, and the customer experience more visual and intuitive. Staff have more visibility into their shifts, managers have better tools to track hours and adherence, and finding your nearest location just got easier for customers. Plus faster check-ins and simplified holiday management. Here’s what’s new.

Product updates:

This release brings multiple improvements across the platform, including a more visual customer experience, smarter scheduling and reporting, better control of the service locator map, and faster check-in workflows.

Richer visual experience for customers

You can now assign icons to services and categories on your customer-facing site, making it easier for people to find what they’re looking for. Staff can also create sales, send payment links, and attach waivers to tickets in a single click – speeding up the most common tasks right from the ticket menu.

Smarter shifts and scheduling with clearer insights into hours worked

We’ve made shifts and scheduling easier to manage, with clearer breakdowns of work time and breaks so managers can quickly review and follow up. Staff now get shift and break reminders by text, email, or push, and breaks can be built right into shifts for a more structured day. On top of that, new reporting gives deeper insight into hours worked, highlighting actual time, over and undertime, and how closely schedules match reality, so you can spot patterns and make smarter staffing decisions.

More control over your service locator map

Two new options give you greater control over how customers find you. You can now limit which locations appear when the map first loads, so customers immediately see the nearest options rather than a cluttered view. You can also set the map to open in satellite view by default, giving customers a more visual and intuitive way to navigate to their nearest location.

Faster check-in with waivers on the spot

You can now attach waivers to a ticket while creating it, with no need to save first. This small change speeds up check-in for both staff and customers.

On the road:

We’ve had a busy month connecting with industry leaders across healthcare and government services. Here’s what we took away:

Healthcare Administration Conference – Toronto

We went to Canada’s leading event for healthcare admin professionals and saw a clear shift – AI is moving from buzzword to bedside. Lots of teams are looking for practical, workflow-friendly solutions, right where WaitWell fits.

Precision Health and Longevity Summit – Calgary

We attended as medical partners alongside Cherry Health at this summit, bringing together leaders in genomics, precision medicine, and digital health. The standout insight: patient experience and operational efficiency are increasingly being treated as clinical outcomes, not just administrative ones. A strong validation of what we’re building.
